Here's how CollabScene works

Same flow for everyone. No middlemen, no commission, no surprises.

  • Zero commission, ever
  • Direct brand-creator deals
  • Launching in weeks

The 4-step flow

  1. 01

    Brands post briefs

A brand posts a collaboration brief with everything visible upfront: the product, the deliverables (Instagram reel, UGC video, story takeover, whatever), the deadline, the budget, and the audience requirements they need. Creators see the full picture before they apply. No guessing.

  2. 02

    Creators apply directly

Creators browse open briefs. When one fits, they apply with their portfolio and a short pitch. The brand sees who's interested, browses their work, and picks the creators they want to collaborate with. Direct conversation starts in the brand-creator inbox.

  3. 03

    The work happens

The brand and creator finalize the terms (timeline, deliverables, payment) in their inbox. The creator delivers the content. The brand reviews. Standard professional workflow with no middlemen taking a cut.

  4. 04

    Creators get paid in full

The brand pays the creator directly for the agreed amount. CollabScene takes zero commission. The creator keeps 100% of what was negotiated. We never touch the money between you.

A note on agreements

Price and payment terms are negotiated directly between brands and creators. The platform connects you, but the deal terms are yours to shape together. We strongly recommend hashing out details (timeline, deliverables, payment schedule, usage rights) before either side commits. Document everything through the platform inbox so there's a clear record.

We're actively building out legal infrastructure, including standard contract templates and dispute resolution support. Until then, please use your discretion and proceed only when both sides are confident in the terms.

Built for both sides

For creators

You're free during beta. Apply to unlimited briefs, keep 100% of what brands pay, no commission ever. Enjoy applying to as many briefs as you like while the platform is in beta. A small subscription may come later for unlimited applications, but commissions stay at zero forever.

Real briefs from real brands with budgets visible upfront. No more cold DMs to brand accounts that never reply. No more discovering the budget was way higher after the deal closed.

Your profile becomes your portfolio. Brands browse it before picking applicants. The work you do on CollabScene builds your credibility for the next brief.

For brands

You pay a flat fee per brief posted. Free unlimited briefs for the first year if you're an early partner. After that, simple per-brief pricing. Never a percentage of the deal, never a cut from the creator.

Pre-vetted creators apply to your brief. You see their portfolio, their style, their audience, their rates. You pick who fits. No outreach hours, no cold DM hunting through Instagram.

Direct relationship with the creator. No agency in between filtering your communication, slowing down feedback cycles, or marking up the price.

Why subscription, not commission?

A 30% commission on a $10,000 brand deal means $3,000 lost. A small flat subscription costs the same whether you land a $100 deal or a $10,000 deal. Same access, same fairness, no penalty for growing.

That's why creators stay free during beta and never pay commission. Brands fund the platform through flat brief fees. Creators keep their full earnings, always.

How CollabScene is different

The infrastructure for the creator economy that should already exist.

Most creator marketplaces work like agencies in disguise. They take 15 to 30 percent commission on every deal. They make money by inserting themselves between brands and creators. The bigger the deal, the bigger their cut.

We don't take a cut from creators. Ever. Brands pay a flat per-brief fee. Creators stay free during beta, and even after, never pay commission. Just zero, always.

This means the platform's incentive is aligned with both sides. We make money when more brands post briefs. Not when creators undercharge themselves to compete. Not when brands inflate budgets to absorb our commission.

The creator keeps 100% of what was budgeted for their work. Always.
